“Vikings” is on now, in the other room, as I type this. I have never watched any episode.
For some strange reason, I never liked the promos, or the guy who is apparently the lead character. I do not even watch the promos. What am I missing here?
An actual lesson in history...with some license.
Ragnar Lothbrock/Lodbrock was an actual person from Viking history. Ragnar may be an amalgamation of several persons from history. There is not enough to pin it down. Though his exploits are not extremely well documented those of his sons are. It is a very good look back into the past around 750 AD.
Fancy that. The History Channel actually showing history for a change.
