In the mid 1980s I tried to get into 1199 hospital workers union in NYC and was told to my face I couldn't because I was white. While the union was on yet ANOTHER strike, I was hired as a temp by Flushing hospital and when they returned from their multi-month strike, I tried to get into the union so I would have a steady job, and the black guy behind the counter at their union headquarters told me right to my FACE "Are you kidding me? You'll never get in, you're white." I will bet my ass she never encountered ANYTHING like that growing up.

Meanwhile the Marxist Mayor of New York city just gave $98 MILLION dollars of hard earned taxpayer cash to settle a BS suit that accused the FDNY of racism...

I have a contact in Philly who retired from the PDP and was asked back for a part-time job as a “consultant”. He needs help because 65% of the new recruits can’t, never have driven (unless they car jacked a ride) and can’t drive like a cop needs to do. I said NO> I won’t drive to Philly, won’t stay there and won’t deal with his recruits. He understood.
