The people who write this stuff really view the South as the third world, and their knowledge of its geography is as foreign to them as Ethiopia’s.
For the record, Google Maps pegs this as an 108 mile drive from Auburn to Atlanta....about the same distance as Philadelphia from New York. I wonder if Philly benefits from its ‘proximity’ to NYC.
I live in Franklin, TN. From 2002-2012 we grew 100% in population from 30,000 to 60,000.

Myrtle Beach/Horry County has been invaded by leftist’s from up North, and it’s beginning to show. MB does not have a Christmas parade anymore. It’s now called Holiday parade. Thugs, illegals, etc. Wife and I have gone to MB for 30 years, but never again. We’re looking for another beach on the East coast to spend our $$.
As long as we permit elites that oddly hate an assimilated Anglo Caucasian culture, that hate the idea of Americans owning firearms, that want the right to control and vet our candidates, and will do anything to avoid serving the USA, America will inevitably be sacrificed.

I’d stay away from the Villages.Too close to Puerto Rico del Norte, aka Graysonland for my tastes, and too far from a beach. Largest employer is a giant rat.
My adopted hometown of Toadsuck, Arkansas is really booming. BMW is looking to move a plant there. It will probably be a Potted Palm. Many people spend a thrilling day at The Toadsuck PossumTrack. My cousin Lyle raises thoroughbred Possums. He’s had some big winners like Sea Biscuit And Gravy and Possum Del Sol Del Highway Del Squishee. President Clinton is looking to open an amusement park there like Dollywood. He’ll call it Willy Wood. It’ll have the usual rides like The Zipper and The Tilt A Girl. Of course, most of the time, you’ll find Bill down at The Tunnel Of Love.
