Also in the KSA all the marriages are decided by the matriarchs of the families. The men work. The women take care of the family. Sons and daughters marry whom they are told to marry. End of story.
As for other Islamic countries, the girls/women don't fare so well...I think. But the girls/women/boys/men of the KSA have THAT part of their lives arranged for them.
