China is currently running a huge trade surplus with America. $440 billion exported to America last year, vs $122 billion imported from America. And that surplus is growing every year.

You are aware that self proclaimed Russian mobs have seized Ukrainian government buildings in Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv and are demanding a Crimean style “vote” to unite with Russia. None of these three provinces are majority Russian. This seems more important than overheard sarcasm.
It’s possible the Obamanation, left to his own devices, might cede all or part of Alaska to the Russkies. Remmenber, Russia got the short end of the stick on that deal and the Bamster might want to make amends for it.
I think any Russians trying to take Alaska would have a real hard time keeping it.

Basic Machiavellianism, (and Human Sociology) is at play here. If you aren’t strong enough, secure enough, or remote enough to protect your wealth, someone will eventually come and try to take it.
