Brooksville woman stabs cell phone, deputies say

BROOKSVILLE – Jennifer E. Wood, 33, was arrested on aggravated assault charges after authorities accused her of threatening her boyfriend with a knife and stabbing a cellphone. on Thursday night, Hernando County sheriff’s officials said.

According to the boyfriend, deputies said, Wood was angry that other women were sending him text messages. During an argument at their High Corner Road home, she grabbed a knife and began stabbing his phone, sheriff’s officials said.

She bit him, threatened him with a knife and has a criminal record. And yet the words "domestic violence" never appear.

Last night, I switched around TV channels and saw a preview for a TV show (I think) “Perfect Wives.” Now, I am unfamiliar with the show but the opening of the trailer showed a June Cleaver type, shopping at the grocery store. then it showed the same person at the dinner table apparently cleaning off a knife with her husband slumped over in his chair. The voice then said “The perfect wife (to the first image) and the perfect knife (to the second image).” I guess some find this entertaining?
