Congress will be gone home
For the Easter holiday-

Today is also the Cubs home opener, I believe, so there’s that Bueller thing going for me too.

There’s a chicken in there!
They drained another 550 ml from chans belly last night. Poor little girl was waddling around it was so heavy. They said she weighed 18 lbs when she went in and left weighing 16.2 lbs. she’s happy and lighter on her feet. She was still leaking from her belly according to the Dogwalker so I called the vet and she said to clean her with peroxide, put an ice pack on her for 10 min and then put neosporin on the needle spot. Gave her a bath first and then did everything but the ice pack bc she would not sit for it.

Today was cleaning lady day, and she picks up all of their toys and puts them away nicely in the big Rubbermaid bin. As soon as chan gets in the room and sees the toy bin upright and closed she immediately agitates for it to be turned over so she can have access to it. She will sit there and scratch at it and look at you until you can’t stand it any longer.
If it’s being used then it’s not for very long. Or they are super anal about cleaning, which seems impossible.
I thought the purple and flowers were a nice touch.
So there IS class today.

I thought so. Beware of the Chicago politicos while there. They will pick your pockets.
the poor baby......after all that she should get her toys while she feels like playing.
