That wasn't my point. You decried the press (which I am no friend of, to be sure) for 'disclosing her identity in that neighborhood'. My point was that the neighborhood knew her identity without a single word being disclosed by the press. She resides there, in fact lived right across the street where the incident took place.
No mention of a husband, or other man in her home, so the inference is she lives alone. If this neighborhood is truly as bad as it seems, she would have been targeted before this time, simply by being elderly (retirement age), and alone. That she has not been tells me that possibly she is in far less physical danger than you at present fear.
That said, *none* of us are ever truly completely safe, wherever we may be, on any square inch of planet Earth. That's just the way things are...
