Bayern Munich advanced to the Champions League semifinals with a 3-1 win over Manchester United in a wild game at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
After a lackluster first half, the goals came one after another in the second half.
...Wayne Rooney was a non-factor, and clearly wasn't 100% healthy after sustaining an injury in last week's game
This is the last we'll see of Manchester United in the Champions League until at least 2015-16.

Chelsea - Atletico Madrid
Bayern Munich - Real Madrid
I predict it will be Atletico vs Bayern in the Final.
What’s funny is that Atletico’s goalkeeper is on loan from Chelsea...Usually it stipulates in the loan agreement that a player will not face the team that loaned him out, so I wonder if that will apply.
The whole concept of loans, I have to admit is weird.
Everton’s success this season is mainly due to the players they got through loans.....they’ve got a challenge replacing them if indeed they do get into the CL next season.
I was 4-for-4 in the quarterfinals, though perhaps not so close on the score lines.
I think both of these pairings are toss-ups - Bayern still have to be the favorites, not just as defending champions, but with no domestic competitions causing them any distraction, but it’s also hard to bet against Real Madrid. From a fan’s perspective, I expect relatively high scores, with Bayern taking the tie 5-3.
Chelsea have the edge on Atletico Madrid in depth and experience, and having the second leg at home is a big deal, as Chelsea have done just enough in each round to advance. They’ll do it one more time, 3-2.
I had PSG, but losing Zlatan was a killer.
I think it’s Atletico’s year. I see them winning La Liga, and this as well. Although I’d have to favor Bayern in the Final.
Bayern’s been sleepwalking a bit lately, it gets boring when you win the Bundesliga with a month and a half left in the season. But I still see them as the team to beat.
Well, that’s why they play the games, right? In any event, I expect some fun stuff to watch.
I don't care about their football (soccer).

While United fans were drowning their sorrows, Welbeck and Cleverley were both seen dancing in front of friends as they hopped from club to club.
