Everybody seems to love LCD, I’ll stick with my Panasonic plasma. I think plasma delivers the best pic especially for fast action, sports etc. Plasma has the fastest refresh over lcd or led and the picture is clear from any viewing angle.
Choose for yourself but I chose plasma with full satisfaction. And they don’t burn in or have the problems they had when they first came out.

I have had my 55 inch Samsung hooked to my computer for over three years, it is never turned off because I use it for TV as well, I run pre-recorded stuff with "Video Lan Commander" anytime I am not actually using either the TV or computer.
The model I have is a smart TV super thin, side lit LED and it has been great, no use for the smart functions though since I use it as a monitor for my Mac. There is no such thing as burn in anymore judging from my experience.
