The post office won’t be going under anytime soon. Government’s not going to let capitalism show up its monopoly, so we’ll continue to be forced to subsidize the failing business.
Advertisers won’t give up the home delivery of their spam that the Post Office affords them.
Most of my daily mail is junkmail and some days that is all there is.
Make THEM pay their “fair share” and the the delivery load would drop (increasing efficiency).
There is a good reason for home delivery of mail, but spam service isn’t it.
