It ain’t that we’re running out of steam. They only think that because we haven’t been holding the rallies on the Mall in DC lately.
We’ve just graduated to more direct action. We’re influencing the candidates who run, and who win primaries. We’re deluging the congressional switchboards with calls. We’re letting the eGOP know that status quo isn’t cool any more.
And we’re keeping our powder dry in case all that ain’t enough.
The tea party is why the democrats are in a panic over the Carl Levin seat in Michigan. Terri Land may not be a firebrand but she’s a well known pro and she’s trusted. The fact that the tea party hasn’t put someone up against her scares the hell out of the democrats.
And even when we do, we are roundly ignored.
