Just another small inconvenience of living in the heaven known as the south.

I remember climbing half up a water tower on a huge hill to see comet Kohoutek and by dark the clouds came in. Fortunately the comet was a dud.

I did have one big piece of good luck today. We came within a gnats a$$ of tearing off to Kennedy Space Center to see the space x rocket launch. The kids were whining that they didn't want to go and for once I listened to them. Found out later today that the launch was scrubbed. God almighty that would have been just awful.
