I’m new to taking hockey seriously. I love the nonstop action as opposed to replay after replay in other sports. I love the indiscriminate punches and bangs they’d be crying over in the NFL. I loved the announcer as he gets wound up over the action in front of the net. I’m having a tough time following the puck but I’ll figure it out. The Kings spent most of the series swarming in front of the Rangers goal. They were fast fast fast!

I love the non stop action as well. I think that makes it addicting in a way. Once your eye and mind are trained to take in all that action, it’s quite a rush. Nothing beats seeing it live though, although HD TV is pretty good.

The Kings around the net is what good teams do, they go to the net! Of course they are built for it, they are one of the biggest teams in the NHL but don’t sacrifice speed somehow. They are a wonderful champion. There was nothing easy about how they won this cup. I’m looking forward to seeing their Stanley Cup Parade this year.
