In a move that has outraged many parents,the Toronto District School Board voted 16-6 against asking the City of Toronto to uphold Canadian nudity laws at the WorldPride parade on June 29.
Every year the parade includes marchers in various objectionable sexualized garb, such as sadomasochistic clothing,topless women, and even full frontal nudity.
TDSB trustee Sam Sotiropoulos had presented a motion asking the Board to write an official letter to the mayor and Toronto City Council to ask “whether or not the public nudity law of Canada will be upheld and enforced at future Pride events in which the TDSB participates.”
His motion was decisively defeated by the school board, which did not debate the matter, but rather forced a snap vote on it. The motion’s failure was met with cheers from gathered parade supporters.
Instead, a motion of support for the Parade was passed. It encouraged children to support the parade as “a celebration and a political event that has greatly added to the richness of the city of Toronto.”
Although trustees had stated that it was not the board’s place to “meddle in the affairs of the police or city council,” the board has been sponsoring a group in the Pride parade for the last eighteen years at a cost of around $8000 a year.
Sotiropoulos and other critics of nudity at the parade highlight the fact that it is often billed as “family friendly,” a point they note is supported by the TDSB’s own participation in the event.
However, some defenders have insisted the parade was never intended to be family-oriented.
“What Sotiropoulos and others who moan over whether Pride is ‘family friendly’ fail to appreciate is that in-your-face sexuality is the point of the damn thing,” Canada.com News Editor Lauren Strapagiel wrote recently.

-Why is a school board involved with a parade of any sort?
-Why take a vote on the subject?
-Why does a school board feel entitled to interfere with law enforcement?
-Why is the school board supporting public nudity? Are public nudity and homosexuality automatically linked?
-If homosexuality is normal, is public nudity normal for normal people i.e. heterosexuals as well? If so, why do heterosexuals overwhelmingly prefer we all keep our clothes on?
-Why do leftists believe they can, as usual, pick and choose what laws should apply based strictly on political viewpoints?
-Do these same leftists support the frequent prosecutions of Mark Steyn and other conservative writers not for public acts but merely for dissenting opinions?
The arrogance. The hubris. The desperation. The ignorance. Truly stunning.
The parents should raise hell about this.Plus,there’s 6 members of the school board who need to hit the bricks NOW.

There is nothing of ‘pride’ about sodomy, public display of nudity, etc. Sexual perversions are nothing to celebrate.

We must let them run amuck, naked... adorned with leather thongs and dog collars... performing fellatio and other vile acts in public while our children watch. Otherwise we would be oppressing them. They are, after all, a protected group. We wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings.
Seriously, we should let them run amuck. We should let them do whatever they want in public, then encourage the news networks to take many pictures and broadcast them. That way, normal people will see that the homosexual lifestyle is all about deviant unnatural sex, that’s all.
Of course, the media will not show the vile acts. They will only show the ‘love’ and celebrate the ‘diversity’.
No no, let them parade themselves. I challenge media to show pictures of the disgusting acts the do in broad daylight. Just keep your kids away.

What is it with queers always wanting to prance around in public nude? And what’s up with cities allowing them too? I want to see what would happen if a group wanted to organize a heteroseexual pride parade and demanded to be allowed to march nude. I don’t actually want to see it!
