In Nigeria, gunmen kidnapped more than 100 schoolgirls and torched the surrounding town on Tuesday. A day before, a deadly blast killed 71 people. A day later, 18 people were killed in another attack.
Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department is laser-focused on . . . promoting homosexuality.
In 2011, former Secretary Hillary Clinton and President Obama directed all federal agencies working abroad to protect and promote lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons.
To give an example how this shakes out, within hours of an arrest – and release the same day – in Uganda of an employee of a US-funded clinic for alleged “unethical research” and “recruiting homosexuals,” the State Department released a statement. This “heightens our concern” for the safety of LGBT individuals.
And the U.S. suspended operations of the entire health clinic.
Patients and health providers were not at risk by it being open. Instead, shutting down the clinic endangered patients.
This message sounds like, “Nice clinic. Be a shame if anything happened to it.”
Going by the Obama administration’s own statements and actions, LGBT rights is more than a priority. As delegates at the UN tell us, it is an obsession.
Girls who will be used as sex slaves for terrorists do not rank as high. Neither do Christians and other innocents slaughtered by the thousands in Syria and Nigeria.
None else get the full attention of every U.S. agency working abroad.
Endangering other people — literally holding their health and lives hostage — is wrong-headed. But thousands of innocent people who are being tortured, jailed, attacked for their religious beliefs deserve some attention and action.
This is not equality.
There was a time when I thought those who speculated that America was the ‘Whore of Babylon’ mentioned in Revelations were nuts.
WTH? Did they kidnap any white women? Must be the republicritters war against women and blacks.
If libertarians on this site will not recognize that homo-fascism is THE issue of freedom that will save or sink us depending on whether we defeat it or not, then we are already lost.
The Gaystapo has this Administration by the gonads, and they want the whole ball of wax.
Think churches are still safe from being FORCED to accept and celebrate the ultimate perversion of God’s creation? Think again.
Perhaps this proves why the Obama Regime’s foreign policy is such a complete disaster. As in America, the Gay Agenda is far more important than anything else. I hope Obama is remembered for having broken THE WORLD.
Churches need to stop clinging to their tax-free status and start thinking about what God expects from them.Some churches like the Pentocostals aren’t going to accept homosexual marriage no mater what the government threatens them with.
We were told that America was not respected or admired in the world because of George W. Bush.
We were told we needed to fight a more sensitive war on terror than the policies of Bush.
We were told that America’s image in the world was bad all because of George W. Bush,.
So, now we have had 5 plus years of Obama liberalism guiding our foreign policy. Among the big issues pushed is homosexuality.
Do I really have to say it? Homosexuality is not revered in most of the world the way the western world now worships homosexuality and trans-whatever peoples. Most of the world treats these subjects very differently. Yet we are pushing the most radical possible agenda relating to homosexuality on a world which just doesn’t accept homosexuality.
Are liberals shocked that there are huge parts of the world which just aren’t liberal on these social issues??????
I’m not so sure. Many Pentecostal churches are already getting sloppy on their theology, ordaining women as pastors, preachers and evangelists. And if you lump the Assemblies of God in with Pentecostals, you get even more apostasy.
It’s getting scary.

Not all of them are, to be sure, but many of the most visible ones are.
Nearly ALL churches have been infected with the “building program” bug - and when you have multi-million dollar mortgages for toys which substitute for the Holy Spirit, you have to keep your paying “customers” happy.
I think that the small churches out in the rural areas are still solid.The mega churces always seemed to be more about entertainment than the truth of the gospel.

Trust me: Americans don’t “worship” homosexuality; that is why our overlords have forced it on us, and silence opposition with all means at their disposal. Most humans are disgusted by homosexual acts; those people even loathe themselves. FWIW, people that openly oppose homosexuality are filling the earth (including the US).
