I got after it pretty hard over the weekend. Went to neighbor lady’s stable and got a load of poo on Saturday.

Nephew helped me unload it on the garden, and with the big tractor working again I was able to bring some more in from my pile and now have the entire garden covered a foot deep.

Planted a row of beets and two rows of carrots yesterday morning, then spent several hours hauling dirt out of the pond.

Was a very productive weekend at my place.

A foot deep in poop? It must have looked like Washington DC. ;)

Sounds like you got a lot done. I didn't. But at least we got some rain.

First of the catnip leaves came into the house today. One per cat.

They attacked them with relish, as usual. And then afterwards, sitting about 1 ft from each other, they took turns smacking each other in the head (hard) once about every 30 seconds to a minute between whacks.

It wasn't a fight. It wasn't friendly. I don't know what I just saw.

But it was pretty funny.

I used to grow catnip in my herb garden. All the cats would converge, and have a cage match..It didn't make them playful,or friendly. All hours of the night cat conflagration. I wuld plant more catnip weekly because they'd destroy the plants.

Weirdly, the cats I have now all seem to be immune to catnip. It doesn't affect them at all.

Very productive, and tiring I am sure. We hunted Easter Eggs and watch Hubby burn some bag worms.

I did get quite a bit of general outdoor cleanup done on Saturday, and relaxed and had fun with grand daughter on Sunday.

Johnny, I sent you some pictures of my container garden. Please post those for me so “real” gardeners know I’ve got plants.

Just hang on, folks, until Johnny can get the pictures on here. Once the plants grow more, will do another set.

There will be more big pots as soon as I get more potting soil mix. The plants in the small contains have to be transplanted. That’s cucumbers and peppers mainly and a big bag for more potatoes.

Well, that lets you see the pic if you click on the link, but I don’t think that’s what you wanted. Let me think about this for a minute and I’ll email you.

You did it. Yay team!

The tobacco do look a little raggedy. Make sure you don't have any little green worms on the bottom of the leaves that are eating the leaves.

My solution is to squish them between forefinger and thumb, but apparently that has too much 'yuck' factor for some. ;)

Wow! That’s some farm. I especially like those square containers, no wasted space there.

Congrats also on posting the pictures yourself.

Looks good. That Deck Corn is coming right along. Your black fabric grow bags look very similar to smart pots.
Are thos the grow bags from the Mega Greenhouse Store?
