Hmm, didn’t know that - have that kind of plug for my wireless mouse. They come in all price ranges from about 25 bucks up to over a hundred depending on the features. I also have a Toshiba laptop, and the built in speakers have always sucked. My cheapo tablets have better sound quality than my Toshiba.
