Various recipes. I lie them with ham. If I don’t have ham, I add ham base seasoning, olive oil, onions, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Sometimes I add in a few potato chunks.

I used to use bacon a lot, but when Hubby started watching his fat content, we quit keeping it except for a little sprinkle now and then as a condiment. I can’t eat it, because it causes my gallbladder to act up, and gives me heartburn.

Sometimes I buy a pack of bacon, and fry it up all at once, then stick it in the freezer to use for BLT sandwhich once we get some big home grown tomatoes.

We use a lot of bacon, but use some ham also on the eggs, various cheeses, various veggies diced up small, some sausage, just never know what next.

We have some fried bacon bits or chunks at nearly every meal, since we get the ends and bits packages. We wrap all sorts of stuff with it also. My wife make tater bites which is thin slices with bacon, green onions, sausage bits, a variety of cheeses on top like stuffed or loaded taters. Mix and match the different kinds on the same tray. I think I like the bites as much as a baker.

Wife will microwave bacon slices to keep it from shrinking or shriveling up.
