Origin: cēterus (“the other”) + paribus ( equal)
Literally meaning “with other [things] being equal” or “other things being equal”. Ceteris Paribus was characterized by Sir Alfred Marshall who was one of the most influential economists of his time and is known as one of the founders of economics.

It seems the TBL-MTL Series-ender may have been the most competitive last night ... Going into the 3rd period, it appeared the Canadiens had a lock on the game, but the Lightning stormed back to tie, only to have Montreal win it in the last minute in storybook fashion. Stamkos was playing frustrated for the whole series, and it boiled over when he got a really good clock on D Emelin midway through the match.

They made the Flyers fans look like even bigger idiots. And watching the Detroit/Boston game and seeing all the empty seats near the end reinforced why we cannot stand their fans. Blackhawk fans are the worst though(except for HD, who is cool).
