I heard the same claim about broccoli. Some people’s genetic disposition makes it taste absolutely uneatable.
I don’t care fro Broccoli by itself but it is OK cooked with cheese. I have noticed that after eating Broccoli my urine will have a distinctive odor for a couple of hours.
