Wrong. They have taste buds, just fewer than humans. Mostly on the tip of their tongue. They distinguish the 4 basic flavors we do, just not as well. They have an extreme sense of smell and smell can equal taste. The poop smell delicious to them, so they want to eat it.
My vet is awesome.
Their own, other dogs, cats, you name it.
But I've found out that dogs REALLY like human poop.
For them, it's a delicacy.
