I discovered Paddy's Irish Whiskey last Spring on a visit to Ireland. I'm not addicted but to all I have served it are close to it. Especially the "Devil's Apple" version. Anyone tried this stuff? Comments?

Sun’s over the yardarm somewhere. Ah, screw it. It’s the weekend! :)
Never had it. Is it blended?

We took a bus tour of Dublin a few years ago and the guide had that classic Irish wit.At one point we passed what he called the smallest pub in the country...he said it was “about as big as a confessional”.Of course the accent made it funnier and those who aren't Irish Catholic (which I am) might not fully appreciate it.

I have some New Zealand wine. New Zealand has lots of population from Ireland, including some of my Mom’s cousins who bailed out of South Africa when things went south for white people there.
We went to the Bushmill’s distillery when we were visiting the relatives in Northern Ireland, back in the 80s.

I’m a Bushmill’s girl but it sounds like its worth a try. Is it in the same category as Midleton?

Paddy Whiskey is a brand of 80-proof blended Irish whiskey produced in Cork, Ireland, by the company Irish Distillers. It is Ireland’s third best selling whiskey.
