SOUTH AMERST, Ohio An Ohio grandfather became so frustrated when he couldnt get his lazy grandson to do his chores that he called 911 to report him to authorities.
Edward Friel called emergency dispatchers in South Amherst after his 17-year-old grandson Justin allegedly punched a hole in the wall because the Internet got shut off.
Friel, 72, apparently cut the houses Internet cord because he couldnt get the teen to stop playing games on his computer and help out around the house.
When police arrived, Friel told them that his grandson called him names and stormed out after he disabled the Internet. According to Friel, his grandson is lazy and does nothing around the house.
Mr. Friel stated he had asked Justin to do some work around the house but [he] continued to play on the computer, according to a police report. Friel cut the Internet cable cord since he was not listening to him.
No charges were filed in the case and Friel said he would handle the discipline himself.
A $1 inheritance message will never be forgotten.
Punching the wall today but tomorrow he’ll be punching grandpa. The cops should have at least had an attitude adjustment with the little punk and charge him with distruction of property.
Hear, hear!!!
Where are mom and dad? Just asking.
In their room, playing video games or watching porn or both.
I'd have that disrespectful punk out of my house on the spot -- may save the grandfather's life.
Kid needs and attitude adjustment -- what happened to the old industrial schools where wayward youth were sent in the old days??
Most likely never married..doing their own thing...which doesn't include the "burden" of children so they dump them on the old folks.
My boys are busy...they have time for video games (middle son wants to be a video game maker).
Mom and Dad? Egg and Sperm Donor you mean?
