Because the idle was too low I replaced tge IAC, TPS a year or so ago. Today I bought new throttle body cleaner. Will do that tomorrow. Then check the EGR and plumbing.

If that doesn’t work I pay $150 and get a waiver. It’s an original ‘91 with maybe 50k miles.

Not going to think of gasket leak which is common on them.

It is otherwise running great!

Sounds like my moms 92 Plymouth(think it just turned 60,000)which she only uses to go to the local grocery store, and as such, barely touches the accelerator.

Had a problem with stalling out at idle, cleaned the idle air control valve, and did a thorough cleaning of the throttle body. Also noticed the pintle(?)on the idle air control valve measured about 1.250" out from the base, whereas the book showed it should be 1.000 or less. Adjusted it back to specs, not sure whether that or the cleaning did the trick but it stopped the idle/stall. Oh yeah, also put in a can of Sea Foam.
