Mickey, 4, was sentenced to jail for the rest of his life. Well, a no-kill animal shelter inside a former jail, that is. The MASH Unit is run by Sheriff Joe Arpaio who now has full custody of Mickey.
According to AZ Central, Mickey was ordered to be "defanged, neutered and sent to an animal-rehabilitation facility for the rest of the animal's life," by Judge Deborah Griffith in Phoenix, Ariz. Mickey mauled the face of Kevin Vicente, 4, six months after he had killed a 2-month-old puppy.
Previously "Griffith declared that Mickey was vicious in a hearing in March and ordered him confined to a rehab facility for the rest of his life, giving the dog's attorneys 30 days to find a home where he could stay indefinitely," reports AZ Central.

He’s a dog. Swap him out for a dog on death row in a “kill” shelter.
