I'm still going to keep my distance.
My Brother who is a biologist, once told me that virtually all spiders have venom. Most of them cannot inject it into a human or we are not affected by it.
He also said there were probably a dozen spiders in North America which can be dangerous to humans.
Thx. I live in hobo country, this is comforting news. If true.
But the Hobo Spiders with a shotgun are flat out deadly!

Nearly every spider I kill in my house looks just like a brown recluse except they have spiky hairs on their legs and the brown recluse supposedly does not.
They even have the violin shape. I have compared several times and they definitely do vary by just that one thing but it must be enough as none of the brown recluse photos show and spiky hairs on their legs.
I still bothers me tho.
Well,,, whatever spider bit me in my sleep a year ago causers skin to slough off, and I still have the scars of the three fang bites. I hate spiders!
I hope that “Hobo Spider” isn’t some feminist renaming of the “Brown Bachelor”.......
