I wanted to be a pretty feathers-n-flowers-in-her-hair Earth Mama, living as I did at the gateway of Big Sur in California, but ... it was kind of like a fish wanting to be a butterfly!! {^) I just couldn't embrace the ninny state of mind that being a real honest-to-god Earth Mama would have entailed!!! {^) I was just too Republican (that was back when being a Republican meant being a conservative).

HAHAHA! You should see the looks I get sometimes. I LOOK like that (granny glasses, long straight hair) and play guitar. People just assume I’m like that, will start talking with me at a gig, and when I start spouting conservative stuff, it’s VERY amusing to watch. Especially if I mention that I carry. HAHAHA! Good old Washington state!
