The new White House report that issued a dire warning about the nation’s changing climate comes on the heels of another study that illustrated how those changes could leave the world's largest coastal cities submerged in water.

On Tuesday, President Obama stressed in an interview with TODAY’s Al Roker that climate change is already an issue costing the nation in numerous ways.

"This is a problem that is affecting Americans right now," he said after the release of the new National Climate Assessment report, a comprehensive review of climate change and its impact on the country. "Whether it means increased flooding, greater vulnerability to drought, more severe wildfires — all these things are having an impact on Americans as we speak."

Hmmm. I wonder if “Noah” was Hollyweird’s softening up of the great unwashed masses for Barry’s bogus “report” that just came out. I’ll bet “Noah” was a coordinated, joint effort between the White Hut and Hollyweird to brainwash the low information idiots.

No doubt. The whole current campaign is orchestrated, from Noah to the Bank of America rubbish to the NCA BS to the array of spurious "Research" cited and discredited on Wattsupwiththat.com/. All set up to propel the Psychopath in Chief as he uses EPA and executive orders to further disassemble America's economy.

Then why did Algore spend millions on a beach side condo a couple years ago if it’s going to be under water?

Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud

Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century.

From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.

Pf! Why don’t they just drag out the pictures they made back in Gore’s day of alarmism. This is nothing new.

"Sea level rise slows while satellite temperature ‘pause’ dominates measurement record"

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2014/04/28/sea-level-rise-slows-while-satellite-temperature-pause-dominates-measurement-record/

A paper titled “The rate of sea-level rise” published in Nature Climate Change on March 23 by Cazenave, et al. shows that during the last decade the rate of sea level rise has declined by about 30% during the period 2003 through 2011 to about 2.4 mm/year from the rate of 3.4 mm/year in the period 1992 through 2002.

Assuming a continuing average rise of 2.4 mm/year, in 100 years the oceans will have risen 240 mm, about 9.4 inches. Assuming an average rise of 3.4 mm/year, 13.4 inches.

Wow! 13 inches!

Show me a person that is really scared of the tide coming in 13 inches more than 1000 years ago. I guess I've never understood how if the earth is warming, and the great plains and the great lakes were formed, AFTER the ice age, doesn't it follow that warming after receding ice after an ice age lead to MORE land?

Help me understand.

Help me understand.

Your quest for understanding is futile.

Instead, you should be asking how best you can serve Gaia.

Global warming should be a boon to the boat industry. Be prepared. The government should give boat owners tax breaks.

So I have to wonder - could this rise in sea level happen very quickly? Like so quickly people wouldn’t have time to relocate from NY and LA to say Texas or Tennessee where the water won’t affect them?

Would this present a problem for the people in Texas or Tennessee?

So I guess if the rise in water level happens slowly so all these “coast” people have time to move then it is an issue. If it happens fast (like New York and LA fall into the sea) then it is a non-issue.
