I’m sure he will. Gowdy is good at that. When the rest of the Republican membership fights as hard as he does, we get something done in this country.
He has to. There just isn’t an option anymore. They will go after him with force that will make Palin’s treatment seem like a day at the spa. Because he has the ‘elected’ and ‘constitutional’ power to destroy them IF he chooses to use it.
I don’t want to put faith in another Republican as they have trained me well to expect disappointment. But if I HAD to, I would say he’s a far better prospect than most.
Norm, your feelings on the party are well known to me, and to a very large extent, I share them. But I do think that Gowdy’s background as a prosecutor and his training in bringing out the truth will make this different. I hope.
