Is there anyone on the planet who wouldn’t pay to avoid travelling with other people’s children? A survey has found that almost 70 per cent of travellers think planes should have child-free zones.

a few years back I took a 15 hour,overnight,flight (in coach) on which half the passengers in coach were between the ages of 6 days and 6 months.To this day my worst nightmares feature the screeching that I heard for that entire flight.

6 days old on a 15 hour overnight flight? Who would do such a thing?

Ditto that...years ago we flew to Singapore via Tokyo, and there was a dot-Indian family right behind us with two chirren that NEVER quit squalling all the way to Japan.

Wifey and I were really happy to get that stop, figuring the family would depart and head to Bombay -- but no...we got another 9 hours of it all the way to Singapore.

We were on a flight to Cancun once when a man woman and kid about 7 sat in front of us. As soon as the seat belt sign went off they released the kid who began to run back and forth down the aisle. After about the 10th time I stopped him and said.........if you run by me one more time you may accidentally trip. He sat down for the rest of the flight. After he sat down I said loud enough for the parents to hear.......you know I go on vacation to get away from kids. Why do I have to put up with other peoples unruly children? Lol
