As I understand this, the Hollyweird crowd is being subjective in its outrage. They wail and moan at the more descpicable aspects of Muhammadanism, but turn a blind eye to other areas. Like men having sex with young boys.
It was like, gosh, they woke up one morning and realized that they were funneling millions and millions to an Islamic state that forbids homosexuality, women’s rights, and more. But rather than point to the real culprit, Islam, they instead say it is the Sultan who is doing this horrible thing.
I don’t think it is a dry run towards Christian businesses, they have little fear of those. Christians don’t chop off your head for amusement when you anger them, or stone you for being raped.
I think it is an aberration and likely is the cause of much infighting among liberals - after all, the universal silence over Islamic law must be maintained, or they will constantly be questioned ‘Why are you protesting this place which chooses to display a cross, and not protesting that place which executes women who attempt to drive a car when their husband has a heart attack in the middle of nowhere?’
‘Why are you protesting this business who gave money to support marriage, yet ignoring the one next to it funded by a group who executes homosexuals?’
These are questions liberals do not wish to face.

Huh? They’ve been attacking, sometimes literally, Christians and Christian-owned businesses for years and years. Prop 8 supporters, wedding photographers and bakeries, anti-abortion adoption clinics, a McDonald’s in NC that put “He Is The Reason For The Season” on their big sign during Christmas, I could list more but you get the idea.

I agree with what Larry Elder said: The real losers are the little guys who work for these businesses - but busboys, cooks, dishwashers, janitors, etc.
