Today is a big but mostly bad day for fans of NBCs programming. Community has reportedly already failed to reach its goal of six seasons and a movie and now it seems there is more bad news on the NBC front. Word on the street is that Revolution and newcomer dramas Believe and Crisis have all been flushed out of the NBC lineup. (Good news for Hannibal fans though!)
Id like to say that these cancellations are surprising, but NBC has been dealing with a paltry lineup for some time and the aforementioned dramas really werent helping to improve things. Take Revolution for example. While the seasoned drama did well during its first season and had a J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke pedigree to boot, the show faltered in the ratings toward the end of Season 1 and was close to a failure this seasonespecially considering the sci fi dramas expensive budget. It honestly seemed clear that the show would not get a third season when the headlines for the Season 2 premiere made it clear that the ratings were way down from the show's initial outing.

I agree. But I really hated that they called the bad guys the "patriots."
For some reason, it was really hard for me to root for Charlie.
Agreed - while I wasn’t a huge fan of Charlie, I definitely was down with her Mom. :)
Revolution was a great idea that was poorly executed. It just had far too many continuity errors to persist in this day and age of Internet nitpickers.
NBC programming has ‘fans’? Really?
bummer... i know you guys watched it...
nbc will never come up with a series as sucessful as Stienfeld.and God! what was with that Mindy Project idea? come on FOX, u guys should of known it was going to tank.
In Season 1, Revolution as an 8 pm show they broadcasted at 10 pm.
In Season 2, Revolution as a 10 pm show they broadcasted at 8 pm.
Pretty easy to flush a toilet!

It was renewed for a Third Season.
I watched “Revolution” from the beginning, but it wasn’t a favorite of mine. I didn’t have much hope for “Believe” or “Crisis.” The coming attractions for both series were kind of dull. I’ve watched them both, and won’t miss them. I found “Believe” to be extremely similar to the Kiefer Sutherland series “Touch”, which was also cancelled after one season.
Kripke, is a big liberal... no surprise there. Every so often in “Supernatural”, he gets his digs in on conservatives. Funny, because the lead characters in that show are very conservative as would most of the survivors be on “Revolution” .
Coming Next Season; “1776 Washington; As The World Burns”
This year has had about as many cancellations as last year which had around 29.
After reading some of the descriptions of some of the new shows for next season, they don’t sound much different than some of the failures this season and last.
“Revolution” lost me when they said the laws of physics quit working. It could have been a good SHTF story with an EMP beginning, but no.
yeah I just read that somewhere. bummer indeed.
No kidding, hub? She looked especially good in Lost.
