Was just reading the comments here, and honestly, it's like reading about the Caps-- no grit, soft goals allowed, take the C away from Cindy. Everything that is said there has been said about the Caps. Proving that things just need to be switched up now and again. Then there's
this from a Caps blog. BRING HIM HERE, we want him. The Caps fired Boudreau because of a similar loss, he'd lost the support of the team-- Ovi calling him a "fatf*ck", i wonder what Sid was calling Dan last night, when he was seen having words and gesticulating on the bench last night, too bad there was no mic there to catch THAT exchange. But Bruce is a fine coach, as we see the Ducks doing great with him. I was all for his firing back then, but it was probably a mistake, as they say here.
It’s not a mistake, because you need to change coaches and philosphies on occasion.
Like I said before, Bylsma benefitted from what came before him. He was able to loosen up the reins just a bit and get the best of both worlds (a strict system and individual creativity).
They need someone to make them play like a team. And they need the players who aren’t afraid to go to the net.
