I don’t have TV and when I tried to rent the movie, the guy at the rental store said I needed to see some of the TV show first. I ended up buying it on DVD, Then I saw the movie.
It is one of the few Sci-Fi Gems for people who read sci-fi. The character development is some of the best I’ve seen. Period.
Yes, that is one of the exceptions. I saw the movie and then bought the BluRay for the series. I agree with you that it is excellent.
