Was my first thought. When I spoke with the people at Mastercard about it they did make a suggestion if I used these cards in the future. They said I should go ahead and register the card with the information of the person who would be using it and just provide that information to them via phone so they can track their own balance on line.
I just quit using gift cards and also don’t use that post office any more and now send checks on-line. Really aggravated me though.
I have no problem with em skipping they just give me my mail and the mail for everyone whoever lived there.
If occasionally it contained some cash, I would have go gripe but so far no cash, just baby formula and bills.
After 8-9 months I still get calls for the business that used to own this phone number... they did pest control and lawn care and stuff..
That has the makings of a good scam. Offer a super low price on the lawn care or pest control(specializing in Democrat fund raisers),get their info and then take a trip to Maui. Just kidding.
