I have the choice of:

• DSL over copper, 3Mbps down, 0.3Mbps up, via my local phone company. Pretty reliable.
• Dialup, slow and mostly unreliable. No.
• Satellite if I don't care about long latency, but that makes it worthless for 60% of what I do working at home. So, no.

Realistically, I have one option, the DSL.

I would LOVE to have TWO practical options. "A dozen"??? In my dreams.... :)

Doesn’t show Clearwire, which is what I’m presently using. The modem comes with a very effective wifi built in, so it’s kind of a twofer.
