You are right, to a point. This could have been avoided by staying out of the water.

Duh, we all know that. A car accident could be avoided by never getting into a car, or even a bus. Those who never cook won't ever burn a dinner. The list is endless.

I'm very sorry for the woman's attack. It is horrifying, so I guess we should stick to the swimming pools. Our choice.

Try this. Fly south from Cape Canaveral at 300 feet, and about 200 feet from the beach. Observe the number of dark shadows cruising below the surface. These, my friends, are sharks looking for food.
