My corn is not co operating. Refusing to sprout. May have to order some different seeds. Hubby’s corn and beans are doing well as so are the potatoes.
We have green strawberries and some of the honey berries are almost ripe. We are anxious to see how they taste when ripe.
I had strawberries for awhile, but it's so much work keeping the weeds out I gave up. I'm going to add some planter boxes after I finish the deck railing. That might be a good place to try again with the strawberries. I'm making good progress, should be finished by the end of the week.
Also spent some time yesterday helping Mrs. Augie fix up her flowerbed. The chickens had taken it over for their digging/dusting spot and just making a wreck of it. Weed cloth and lava rock took care of that. It was quite entertaining watching them try to figure out what to do with the lava rock.
