Steven Spielberg will begin producing a live-action television series based on the military-themed sci-fi video game Halo in the fall of 2015, which coincides with the release of the sequel Halo 5: Guardians. The show, which will live on the Xbox Live network, will build on the success of the digital series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, which debuted alongside the game Halo 4. Microsoft previously announced that Alien director Ridley Scott was working on a multi-part Halo film, according to the Associated Press. No other details about the Spielberg-produced show have been released.

Oh great. Now the aliens will cycle across the moon.
At least it isn’t George Lucas.
I’ll be waiting for the first crossover with “Red Vs. Blue”.
The first words of the narrative will be “After Republicans destroyed the planet, we went to the stars and met THEM.... in battle. RightWing extremist aliens....”
Yikes. Here’s Spielberg’s track record as a TV producer over the past 5 years:
Falling skies
Lucky 7
Under the Dome
Smash
The River
Terra Nova
United States of Tara
Oh, “Under the Dome” is the rare Speilberg second-season pick-up? Okay, you win. Good luck with your beloved Halo, fanboys!!
The Current FReepathon Pays For The Current Quarters Expenses?
but this one is delivered directly to their XBoxes, they know this audience
I like Falling Skies (it returns in June) and I liked Terra Nova.
Bit then, I like dumb shows of that kind.
I remember 10 years ago when I was a Teenager, there wasn't anything better than going over to a buddies house and set up 3-4 TV's and Play Halo 1 well late into the night screaming obscenities at each other waiting for the day when Halo 2 came in November.
Now what do we have? We have this.
(Sigh)
I liked Terra Nova too.
Finally, a RvsB fan here....how do you like season 12 so far.
LOL! OMG Yeah same here
I’m still waiting for my pizza rolls!
