Agreed. Sorry to say, but it sounds fishy to me.
They shouldn’t be. This is extremely typical of the social dynamics in these situations. The girl just wants to get back to “normal life,” whatever that was for her. Even if she has realized the clinic acted illegally, she may not want to cause trouble for her family or her boyfriend. This can be the case even when those individuals are doing her wrong.
As for whether abortion clinics can go too far in pushing their “product” on less than willing “customers,” yes, that can happen. The clinic will align themselves with the person or persons most motivated to spend the money, and will gladly trample all over “informed consent,” especially when the mom is a minor. Don’t doubt for a second that it absolutely can happen that way.
She shouldn’t have a boyfriend.
Keep in mind that the reason they probably did this is because they needed to make their quota. Aborted baby parts is BIG BUSINESS for the industry.
“Cheryl, the local (and amazing) prolifer drove to the clinic and the young girl was released in her custody”
Why was she in someone else’s custody? What crime did she commit? Sounds like the crime was NOT committing a murder.
(s)perhaps stoning would help?(/s)
Why are you guessing? You are bizarrely bad at it.
Read the article.
Really, truly bad guess:
Buffalo Womenservices, located at 2500 Main St. in Buffalo, New York, is a licensed diagnostic and treatment center. We are a member of the National Abortion Federation and NARAL. We offer the most advanced medical procedures and technology along with our physician's 25 years of experience.
We provide women with safe, legal and confidential abortion services in a compassionate and supportive setting. Surgical abortions are performed by our OB/GYN physician to 22 weeks. We also provide medical abortion and early surgical abortions.
PROTESTERS: Unfortunately, there may be some protesters in front of our facility, but they are not allowed past the front of the building or on clinic property. Please avoid communicating with the protesters and notify clinic staff immediately of any problems or concerns.
PARKING: There is parking available behind our building. We ask that you use the backdoor, as the front door is for staff and vendors only.
CELL PHONES: Cell phone use is not permitted at the clinic for privacy reasons. All phones must be turned off and put away while at Buffalo Womenservices. A pay phone is available for public use
I think you should reread the basis for my post saying it must not exist.
This is why there are ‘age of consent laws’ - kids can’t legally make their own decisions.
My hostility is toward propagandists who use lies to augment honorable sentiment and the gullible fools who refuse to look beyond the sentiment to the obvious inconsistencies in the fable. It’s important for those on the right side of the debate to maintain an uncompromising relationship with the truth. This story doesn’t pass the smell test.
With just a bit of effort on Google, you would find that both Buffalo Womenservices and the State of New York do exist.
Stop guessing. Knowledge is good.
