No, we assumed Jimmie got to visit an uncle in another state or was somehow safely put out of reach by his parents. This is a true story and, as much as we liked to play with cherry bombs, Jimmy was a bit of an outlier in our crowd; dangerously odd. His parents wouldn’t let him have any pets and, thinking about it after, I think he may ave been a danger to small animals. He actually scared us a bit.
