Morning AM. Goody, they overturned the gay “marriage” ban in Pa. Gov Corbett will appeal it, but the Repubs in Pa have no backbone and, no doubt, will cave in the end, just as they did on vote ID.

I wish we could annex Philly to New Jersey and knock some sense into Pittsburgh democrats.

13 Federal judges have done this around the country.. it is judicial! The result of years of progressives attack on the American culture.

Well damn what those pesky voters want! Rule....rule from the bench.

This is tyranny.

I wrote in Bob Guzzardi and Daryl Metcalfe. I figured it wouldn’t do any good, but at least I’d have my say for the primaries. If Wolfe gets in this state is screwed beyond belief. How can Pennsylvanians be that stupid? I’ll, of course, vote for Corbett in the general elections. I can’t even entertain the idea of Wolfe being governor. Any repub will be better than that.

I totally agree with you about Philadelphia. I would happily vote to cede it to NJ.

I have to confess I’m feeling discouraged about all of this. I’m reluctant to turn on the news anymore and see all the celebration over the decline of our culture.

Yup. A friend of mine was in last weekend and he uses one. I showed him what we have on three devices and we basically already get the same. Roku would be easier though.

One thing I did last week was to check again what stations we get over the air. With a cobbled up antenna we get at least a dozen stations despite being up against hill. If I set up a real antenna it would be pretty good. Still need cable for net and phone.

Meanwhile in Crafton where I live it is illegal to catch and store rainwater. However in an adjacent community, Greentree, a course on how to store and use rainwater is offered for free.

I did some checking on the internet about getting an antenna. We are in a dead zone. Even with a high antenna, we’d barely pick up anything. We don’t need the cable for the internet and phone under Comcast, so it would be no big deal for us to cut the cable. We have a land line. Can’t use the cell phone out here. We love our Roku and are thinking of cutting the cable. I wouldn’t miss it except for a couple of programs on Fox News Channel.

Why is is illegal to catch and store rainwater?? We have a rain barrell. We’re thinking of getting a second one.

Crafton is a weird town. Lots of stupid regulations. Run by rats of course.

We still plan on a Roku but probably for the bedroom.

I don’t watch much news anymore either. Particularly the network new stations. They all carry water for the dems. Disgusting. It seems everything good and right about this country is falling apart right before our very eyes - in and such a short period of time.

Governor Corbett has not yet decided on an appeal according to the report on WHP Radio this morning from Harrisburg.

In fact, host RJ Harris was lamenting the fact that Corbett has to make a tough decision that could alienate some conservatives and keep them home this November.

Republican Judge John Jones (appointed by W Bush, Tom Ridge’s Liquor Control Board chairman) did his ruling on Primary Election Day to spare Corbett the necessity of making an appeal decision before the primary.

Good morning n’@! And Happy Birthday Mr S and GregB!!!

Wolf...UGGHHH! If he wins in Fall, PA becomes NY south. Kiss oil and natural gas drilling good by...and Wolf will be CuomoLite.

Last night I was very disheartened...the “glee” Wolf won! Yippee! PA has gay marriage!!! Double yippee! This morning...a tad brighter...why? Read a thread here on FR about Project Veritas, pretending to be Arab film financiers, getting Hollywood enviro types (Ed Begley, Jr Mariel Hemingway) to accept behind the scenes financing AGAINST fracking/drilling because the “Arab” claimed that US energy independence would HURT the Middle East. Think about THAT and think about the public learning of the duplicity (as gasoline, electricity, etc, prices rise).

Things may not be so bleak after all.

By the way, the late ruling from the Republican controlled Supreme Court to take Guzzardi off the ballot created confusion.

Counties had already set their machines so Guzzardi was on many of them and if voters chose him like over 4-thousand did here in York County.

You had to write him in like 1,400 did in my county to “count”.

York County’s election website showed that some 17 percent did vote for Guzzardi on the machines where his name was, another 6 percent voted write-in, so in York County 23.50 percent voted against Tom Corbett in the GOP primary.

Statewide Corbett got 27-thousand fewer votes than Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley.

The reports from Harrisburg say there was a revenue shortfall in April with the state a billion plus dollars in the hole going into the new budget. Some new tax or taxes could come July 1st, maybe a frack tax????

Corbett’s apologists then could say he took the Demorcats issue away from them. That’s what Karl Rove did in 2004 when he gave us Medicare Part D taking the Democrat demand for a prescription drug plan for seniors away from them costing taxpayers hundreds of billions.

Who can be more progressive? Or, “We’re going to take that issue away from the democrat party.. we’ll just do things a little slower.”

It’s the elite Washington insiders against the average Americans.

Both parties are marching down the same road.

It’s way past time to finish the work of the Whiskey Rebellion and split this state into 2. Let Philthadelphia collapse on its own. Perhaps we could join up with secession movements in Western Maryland and Upstate New York.
