there is no debating that OS X is a fast-growing platform. It not only has deep roots in Linux architecture, Kind of like looking through the wrong end of a telescope. OSX is Unix®.
Linux is a clone of Minux which is a clone of Unix.

You're almost correct. I believe MacOS X is based on the Berkeley Systems Development (BSD) UNIX with the Mach operating system kernel. That is not the UNIX that AT&T's Bell Labs originally developed.
