I could get there at 0730, or as near the bus gets there - and my sauntering into the building, wait an hour for ‘my number’, get my blood drawn, already be late for my ekg - and wait for an hour (one guy show), then since i’m already late, and i’m shaking ‘cause I had not eaten, I go eat something in that newly built/remodeled cafeteria that still hasn’t got crap, and then go and still wait another two hours to see my Dr. Boombahtz, and the lab results are not there yet! So, that puts me after 1230.
I know a Vietnam vet who just recently got into the system and they told him the same thing about missing appointments.
Yes, I have been to some HORRIBLE VA facilities. However, the one I am at now is awesome. I am often seen early.
ust heard about a vet who was kicked out even tho he had an appt-b/c he had not checked in beforehand.
A few weeks ago I went in for a 0930 appointment. I got there around 0915 and, while I was in line, a tech came out of the clinic and called my name. I got out of line and reported to the tech. He said that I had already checked in at 0745 and that was his 4th time out calling for me.
Efficient bunch, aren’t they (sarc)?
What kind of imbecile finds out what’s going on in his AOR after the fact and from the news media?
The one in Helena, Montana, was great. So far no complaints about Shreveport.
A liberal had intended to vote in your name but was confused about the location. ;-)
Lousy management
His royal un-awareness himself!
