I’m running Word 7 on my MiniMac. Not good. Clunky and limiting.

I don’t know whether I hate the Apple or the Word; probably the Apple, as Windows/Word worked on all of my Dells.

The salesman at Apple was flummoxed when I told him I have ZERO interest in technolgy. ALL I need is a flexible word processor with Internet.

Anyone remember Word Star? Now THERE was a program. All I needed then and all I need now. Big sigh. I’m going back to the quill.

Your truly,
Veto the Luddite Grrrrl

I have gone to using The Journal for word processing.

Try Open Office, looks just like Word 97, works great on a PC, haven’t tried it on a Mac though.

Yes, I do. I also loved Wordperfect 5.1.

Ctrl+KB. Ctrl+KK. Ctrl+KV

You might look for something called “Wordstar command emulator for Microsoft Word”. Haven’t tried it myself but it’s out there.
