Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has been hit with fresh accusations of stealing. The current holder of the Heisman Trophy, Winston, 20, is rapidly earning a reputation for his off-the-field bad boy antics as well as his sporting prowess. Surveillance video footage emerged last week showing Winston shoplifting $30-worth of crab legs from a Tallahassee supermarket and now he has been accused of stealing soda.

The story from May 12th (?) is very telling...his dad told Rachel Axon of USA Today that he thinks FSU should have someone with his son at all times to keep him out of trouble. WOW! Not, “my son needs to be more responsible” or “he needs to learn that you can’t...”, just needs to be watched. Here is the quote:
“”He’s supposed to have somebody around him 24/7,” said Antonor Winston specifically. “He a Heisman Trophy winner so (he’s) definitely not supposed to be by (himself).”
Not much more needs to be said, IMO. Little infant football star needs a baby sitter.

Dumbass. I wonder how many millions that “free soda” cost him in his next contract and all the endorsement money that won’t ever show up now.
He’ll make plenty of money but I’d wager in 10 years it will all be gone. I have a feeling he won’t make it in the NFL for any length of time.

Years ago I worked in a store with a snack bar. Some black girl walked over to help herself to a free soda refill. The cashier, who was white, told her refills were not free and asked her politely to pay for it. This girl slapped the cashier across the face.
Customers watching this unfold began to choose up sides along racial lines, and we very nearly had a race riot on our hands.
Times like this are when I really miss Spurrier.

He’s gotten away with everything his whole life. Not just him but most athletes. Someone better set him straight soon or he will have something happen in his life that will destroy him. The culture at FSU isn’t helping either. Long history of the police protecting athletes there.
In his defense, normally when you have to get your own drink, I think it is generally understood that refills are free, otherwise the drinks are behind the counter and filled by the staff. Am I mistaken in this?
FSU is far from the only school where that is the case.

All that needs to be done now for a massive flame out is to hand him a 10 million dollar signing bonus when the time comes.
