We still joke about changing into play clothes to work outside.

I refused to do that as a kid, and still do. I put on one set of clothes for the day, that's it. Only exceptions are when i go clamming or fishing in really muddy spots before I go out with Kelly.

I was brutal on clothes as a kid, so my parents made me wear the Sears toughskins jeans, damn did I really hate those things.
