That's been my position all along. Most of the talk has been been about the weak position that Sterling is in and the resulting hit he has taken in value of the Clippers.
I think it is quite the opposite.
All Sterling has to do is threaten to go to court where, IMHO, he would stand an excellent chance of prevailing. If the league wants him gone and wants to avoid that court battle then there is going to be a premium to be paid for the Clipper franchise. And it will be the new buyers who pay it. But of course they may get a little help from their friends. Maybe even the new Commissioner will chip in.
