I went out for an hour away from city lights, from about 12 AM to 1 AM, and I saw two fairly bright meteors, maybe as bright as Saturn, or so. These came at about 15 and 25 minutes into my session, in Ursa Minor then Ursa Major.
After waiting another half hour, I decided I was not going to miss a "storm", so I left. Urban lighting intruded on the northern horizon, so I could not see any stars of Camelopardalis, but I don't know if I've ever seen any! It's kind of a mystery constellation to me. I could see Draco pretty well, and Ursa Major's "feet" looked nice and bright, as did Cassiopeia's "chair".
I actually spent a half hour getting the pronunciation down. I still cant do it more than 2 times in a row.
And that was likely easier than trying to trace it out in the sky. H.A. Rey is the only one that I think ever tried to make sense out of it!
